Tora Woloshin of Fox’s X-Factor, performed at Flo Rida’s “Back to School Fest” in Miami on August 12, 2012 at Traz Powell Stadium. The event was hosted by Flo Rida’s label, Strong Arm, his Management Company, International Music Group, and Power 96 of Miami. The “Back to School Fest” supported organizations that provide school supplies to school children, voter registration, health screenings and hair cuts for local residents. Tora, Simon Cowell’s favored contestant from last season’s X-Factor performed “Don’t Want You Back” by Jackson 5, “Confidential” and “Look Out Weekend.”
“It was a honor to perform at such a tremendous event for the community and children of Miami. I would like to thank Strong Arm, International Music Group, Power 96, the FLO Football League, and residents of Miami for the opportunity to perform. This time of year when school starts again, I am reminded of a proverb, ‘Learning is a treasure that will follow it’s student everywhere'” Tora Woloshin.
Tora, was signed by Fli Life Music Label (in Miami and New York) in 2012. If the love child of Lady Gaga, Mariah Carey and Pink were to crash the Warped Tour during a One Republic and Blindside tribute to Michael Jackson, it might be close to the vibe you’d get when Tora takes the stage. Tora grew up in Tucson and began her singing career at age of 6. She graduated to group and solo performances with the Tucson non-profit, Kids UnlimitedTora’s new hit single, “Guns and Roses” produced by Fli Life. Tora’s label states “Fli Life Music appreciates the opportunity to showcase our talents. We are thankful for the support from all of our fans and the chance we had to back to the city of Miami. Once again, thank you to The Flo League, Strong Arm, International Music Group, Power 96, and everyone involved with terrific event.”
